October 31st is not only Halloween, it is Nevada Day. In a small town that means not only no school, but a parade too! Small town parade, on Halloween, in an election year, we will be eating candy for weeks.
Random Trivia: Did you know that the Nevada State Constitution is the longest telegraph ever sent? Yuppers!
Other Random Trivia: Hats taste good.
Courtney REALLY wanted to dress up for the parade, but I wouldn't let her wear her other dress, it is white and a touch too long, that didn't sound like a good combo while chasing candy. Instead she dressed up as Lucy. Lucy has been her second choice costume for a couple of years now. She was thrilled.
